Crocoite is a rare, lead chromate. It has only been found in abundance in the mines around the old townsite of Dundas, Tasmania, Australia. These mines are now all closed, caved in, and/or flooded.
Crocoite relates to the navel chakra and can stimulate and enhance intuition, creativity and sexuality. It is a transition stone, assisting one in the progression from this life to another, from this life to the next, and one state of change to another situation in a non-complex method.
