Larvikite is mined in the Larvik Fjord region of Norway. It is also known as Norwegian Moonstone and Black Pearl Granite. It is a beautiful stone, dark grey and black with silvery and blue chatoyant flashes.
An excellent grounding stone, Larvikite opens the earth chakra and connects one with the earth and spirits of nature. It stimulates creativity and the exchange of wisdom, making this an excellent stone for teachers and artists.
