Girasol Opal is the name given to clear to milky star quartz mined in Madagascar.
This stone is associated with the throat chakra and crown chakras. It is used to stimulate the mystical arts, psychic developments, and is used in journeying, psychic cloaking, and personal, creative, or imaginative traits. Because girasol opal is a quartz and not a true opal, it carries the same properties and strengths of clear to white quartz, but it also is an excellent stone for imagination, visualization, guided direction of energies, and communication skills.
The pink version is also a Pink Ray of Love stone.

We carry beautiful, rough clear to white girasol opal for tumbling in both 5 to 15 gram size and 15 to 30 gram size. The smaller, 5 to 15 gram size is beautiful naturally, with a really nice opalescence, and is a very nice size for wire wrapping. It may be a little small for tumbling.

Our beautiful Pink Girasol is mined in Madagascar. Pieces are mostly clear, occasionally translucent. These are AA quality stones and are bulk. Your stone will be chosen at random. Stones are packaged individually with labels and weight.
Extra small pieces weigh less than two grams and measure 3/8 to 1/2". Small pieces range from 2 to 4 grams and measure 3/8 to 3/4". Medium stones range from 4 to 8 grams and measure 1/2 to 1" and Large stones range from 8 to 15 grams and measure 3/4 to 1 1/4".
