Hypersthene is found in igneous and sometimes metamorphic rock, and iron meteorites. It is a midway mineral made up of enstatite and ferrosilite. There is often a lovely metallic sheen in a coppery peach color.
Metaphysically, it stimulates the root chakra and is an excellent grounding stone. It is used to promote healing through creative visualizations to enhance vision and magnify intention. It can help one understand, accept, and heal one's shallow and selfish side. In meditation, it helps one look inwardly at one's nature and expand conscious self-awareness.
