BLOODSTONE
is also known as Dragon's Blood, or
Dragon Stone. It is made up of red and green jaspers, and occasionally white agate. The green is not the deep green of Indian bloodstone, it is more like Russian Serpentine. The red ranges from bright red to a black red.
Metaphysically, Bloodstone stimulates the Kundalini and balances all of the chakras. Bloodstones are detoxifiers of the organs and purifiers of the blood by helping to allow light into the body. They are used for overcoming depression and melancholia.
